Why I love weddings?  Emotion.  Excitement.  Candor and candid.  When I started documenting weddings five years ago, I had no idea what I was doing.  Absolutely no idea.  I loved selective color.  Tilted angles.  And amazingly awful editing.  I was a master at modern wedding photography faux pas.  I started off working with my partner at the time.  We photographed everything.  Anything.  All the things.  From sunflowers to jack-o-lanterns, we navigated our way through a sea of photographers we admired until we found our driving force.  Emotion.

Whether it’s a family who expresses there love through photographs or a grooms joyful tears as a bride comes to join him at the first look.  Emotion continues to be my driving force.  Recently, i gave a lot of thought to why I was doing this.  There’s always a why.  This isn’t something that I had considered until recently when a fellow Las Vegas photographer mentioned that while there may be many reasons (money, adventure, or emotion) there always is a one word why.  So, I give you some of my favorite images and portraits I’ve captured over the years and you can discover my “why”.  Enjoy and thanks for watchin’!
